A completely unjustified conclusion. A lottery is not an illusion. People buy a ticket in the hope of getting rich. The lottery company depends on that hope to get us to buy tickets. But the prize is not a fantasy or an illusion.

Starting a company in the hope of making a profit is not based on an illusion. It’s based on taking a risk in the hope of gaining a reward. There is nothing illusory about it. We all do things every day in the hope of a gaining good result.
