Employers don’t have managers working 60 hours a week because they are nice guys and want to give someone a job. They need those employee hours and the claim that employers can eliminate managers and do without them if their costs increase is ridiculous on its face. Wages below the poverty line increase taxes and increase the size of government and they hurt everyone.
