I need to make a comment here that is somewhat off-topic, but it's very much on my mind.

I published a column "The Most Harmful Racists Are The Ones Who Think They’re Not Racists At All. What A Lot Of White People Actually Think About Black People" and I got a comment today from someone claiming to be an African-American male (falsely I am convinced).

In it he recited all the racial stereotypes that White Nationalists spread with the claim that as a Black man, he knows that they are all true and that black people really are genetically inferior to white people.

It was such a brazen, ridiculous, racist pile of nonsense that I thanked him for at least being honest and admitting his racist beliefs.

For anyone who thinks that racism isn't real, alive, active and pervasive in America, it is.
