I think you’re right about everything you said except any implication that a UBI is part of the solution. Jobs are lost but work remains. I think one answer is publicly-funded non-profits that pay living wages to unskilled people to perform needed work that cannot pay for itself under a for-profit model. A Guaranteed Minimum Income Is The Wrong Answer To The Right Question — The Solution To The Shortage Of Living-Wage, Low-Skilled Jobs Is Publicly Funded, Non-Profit Corporations That Will Pay A Living Wage
