I would never try to defend “capitalism in the raw.” I think the core capitalist systems of competition, the (controlled) profit motive, and market pricing and choice are powerful tools. BUT, like other powerful tools they can breed truly terrible results if not intelligently controlled.
So, No, I won’t dismiss or disagree with your listing of the evils caused by unrestrained capitalism any more than I would disagree with a recitation of the damage caused by unrestrained fire, electricity, natural gas, the automobile, etc.
