McCain’s politics were one thing. His character another. I disagree with his politics. I admire his character.

I choose to think that the nice things people are saying about him now are comments on his character which is in sharp contrast to the despicable personality and character of the current occupant of the White House.

Character isn’t everything but it counts for a lot.
