We do not live in a libertarian utopia. My column deals with the real world today and is therefore completely on point.

If you criticize the communist theory a communist may tell you that you that when the bad people all go away and the state has withered away communism will be wonderful. That doesn’t make communism any less of a disaster today nor does it make your criticism of it any less relevant.

If you ever achieve this libertarian utopia in any country I will write a new column based on that situation. Until then, everyone lives in the real world, not some fictitious fantasy world that does not exist.
