You’re both right and wrong.
If you view the article as merely an invitation to educate myself elsewhere on this topic, then you’re correct.
If you view the article as an attempt to explain this topic to people who have never heard of it, then you’re wrong.
When you choose to write and publish on a topic, it’s not enough to have information. I believe that it is the author’s job to deliver information in a way that is reasonably understandable by those unfamiliar with it.
An author needs to effectively communicate the information he possesses to those who don’t already know or understand it, something this author failed to do.
